Stamp duty savings attract buyers to Trinity Walk new Austwick Court launch

Two reservations were taken over the weekend as buyers took advantage of the stamp duty cut saving thousands of pounds.

Austwick Court is a collection of 21, one, two- and three-bedroom apartments built over 6 storeys, eight of which are dual aspect with an additional balcony. Every apartment has at least one balcony.

Lovell Homes sales manager, Lea Hudson, said: “We were delighted with the feedback from the new show apartment. The layouts and configurations are different in this block and it has a lovely feel to it. We are urging interested buyers to come and view the apartments to see for themselves what great value for money they are.”

The new stamp duty announcement means many of the apartments at Trinity Walk will come under the £500,000 threshold meaning large savings for buyers.

With prices for a one-bedroom apartment starting at just £355,000 and two bedroom apartments from £460,000, first-time buyers are finding they can afford to buy at Trinity Walk.

Lea added: “The majority of first-time buyers have taken advantage of the London Help to Buy scheme which allows them to secure a mortgage of only 55 per cent of the value of the property, with only a five per cent deposit.”

Trinity Walk is a collection of 445 new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each new home has been built to maximise space and light as well as being finished with a high specification to ensure high levels of comfort, security and quality.
