Moving on up…space a priority for Scott buying at Trinity Walk

Due to issues with selling his property it took Scott Davies just over a year to complete his move, but now that he is relaxing in his luxury three bedroom apartment he can finally put all of that behind him.

Scott moved from the Royal Arsenal development, just around the corner, into his three bedroom, Lovell Homes built apartment at Trinity Walk, and he is immediately enjoying the extra space.

His huge 1,000 square foot apartment boasts a master bedroom with ensuite, a guest bedroom and a third bedroom which he uses as an office. He also has the choice of two balconies from where he can enjoy the surroundings.

Scott, 34, who was originally from South Africa, took advantage of the London Help to Buy scheme to buy his £530,000 home.

Scott said: “The driving force for me to move from my previous one bedroom apartment was more space. Lovell Homes haven’t skimped on the size of the rooms and I would consider them best value for money in the area.

“I work from home a lot now and I having three bedrooms was just what I was looking for. I have a guest room and another spare room which is my office which means I don’t have to compromise on my living space. It’s finally worked out really well.”

Scott added: “I had some issues with selling my apartment but Lovell Homes stood by my reservation and I was delighted to finally complete my move – even if it did take a year!”

Scott continued: “Woolwich is a great, up and coming place to live. There’s a lot to do, it is part of a huge regeneration programme and I’m happy to put roots down here. I love the fact it’s close to the river and I can run or cycle around the area.”

Lea Hudson, sales manager at Lovell Homes, said: “We are delighted Scott was finally able to move into Trinity Walk. He had difficulties with his EWS1 form, but it was sorted out in the end. It’s a problem Lovell doesn’t have as we are fully compliant and have the EWS1 in place which gives our buyers peace of mind.”

With the huge regeneration programme, Woolwich is well and truly on the map and has become a ‘hot spot’ for buyers to get on the property ladder.

“Property hunters have been taking advantage of one of the best times to buy an apartment in London. We have seen most first-time buyers take up the London Help to Buy scheme which allows them to secure a mortgage of 55 per cent of the value of the property, with only a five per cent deposit.”

Lovell Homes’ collection of 445 contemporary residences at Trinity Walk include one, two and three bedroom apartments with prices start from £355,000 for a one bedroom apartment.
