Lovell Homes to host Help to Buy event at Trinity Walk for first time buyers
This free event in the sales centre is being held with independent mortgage advisers Robert Sterling.
With prices for a one bed luxury apartment starting at £339,000 first-time buyers are finding they can afford to buy at Trinity Walk with the London Help to Buy scheme.
“We held a similar Help to Buy event in April and it proved very popular,” said Jean-Philippe Gadel, Lovell Homes Regional Sales Manager. “It made sense to repeat the format due to a number of potential buyers wanting to sit and discuss the scheme with an independent advisor.
“We are finding that many potential buyers are not aware of the scheme and its unique advantages.”
Trinity Walk is hugely popular for first time buyers who want to get a foot on the housing ladder in and up and coming area of south east London.
Jean-Philippe added: “The majority of first-time buyers have taken advantage of the London Help to Buy scheme which allows them to secure a mortgage of only 55 per cent of the value of the property instead of 95 per cent, with only a five per cent deposit.
“Buyers need the reassurance that they are doing the right thing and having independent mortgage advisors Robert Sterling on hand to talk them through the detail is important.”
Trinity Walk is a collection of 445 new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The first phase sold out in June. Lovell Homes is now selling Phase 2. Each new home is built to maximise space and light as well as being finished to a high specification ensuring high levels of comfort, security and quality.
With phase 1 now complete and all residents living in the estate, new buyers can get the “feel good” sense of this community.
Lovell Homes is happy for its residents to sing its praises. Jessica Templeton and Caroline Smith who bought a three-bed townhouse a few months ago are commenting:
Jessica said: “There were a number of factors that led us to invest in a property here in Woolwich. Our Trinity Walk townhouse represented very good value for money when we took into account the amount of space on offer, so close to key transportation links for our commute.
“No other area of London offered us the same amount of space so close to a wide variety of amenities and a proper town centre. The diversity and vibrancy of the area is also really evident. Greenwich Council support and celebrate that diversity with a number of community festivals held every year.”
“Woolwich is up and coming,” added Caroline. “There’s an influx of professional workers moving into the area. There’s new Government funding promised to invigorate the High Street and there is a new Creative District being built. The level of new and ongoing investment in the area can only be a good thing.”
The proximity of Trinity Walk to the Woolwich Arsenal DLR line and the soon to be delivered Queen Elizabeth Cross Rail line were also vital to the couple.
Jean-Philippe added: “Trinity Walk ticks a lot of boxes for buyers. We look forward to seeing prospective buyers on the day and helping them choose the right home for them.”
The event will start at 11.00am until 4pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
