Emotions run high for Italian couple when they receive keys to apartment

When Cosma Damiano Lovero and his girlfriend Francesca Alemanno received the keys to their one-bedroom apartment at Trinity Walk, the first people they wanted to thank was the sales team at Lovell Homes.

The couple felt a great sense of gratitude as they explained the staff had played a big part in them now owning their own property in Woolwich.

Cosma recalled: “You could have forgiven us for forgetting about social distancing when we received the keys to our apartment. We were so happy, relieved, excited and emotional – all at the same time! We just wanted to give the ladies a big hug.”

The move had been touch and go for several reasons but Lovell Homes pulled out all the stops to help make it happen.

Cosma added: “Lovell Homes did such an amazing job. They are a very good company. They held out for us and stood by us during lockdown when we were furloughed and helped push the sale through.”

Cosma and Francesca, who both work in the hospitality sector in central London, had started their home hunting in February and discovered Trinity Walk in Woolwich after a search for first time buyer properties.

Cosma recalls their first experience. He said: “We went to visit a number of new developments in Woolwich but Trinity Walk stood out. It’s has a lovely community feeling and is nice and quiet. The building is striking, and we love the design inside and out. The apartments are good value for money and we now are looking to build our life in this up and coming area of South East London.”

Lea Hudson, sales manager at Lovell Homes, said: “Myself and the team were delighted for Cosma and Francesca. We know what they went through because of their employment situation due to Covid. Lovell Homes is a compassionate company which does as much as it can for buyers in this type of situation. We hope they enjoy living in Trinity Walk.”

With prices for a one-bedroom apartment starting at just £355,000 and two bedroom apartments from £460,000, first-time buyers are finding they can afford to buy at Trinity Walk. All one and two bedroom apartments are under £500,000 therefore exempt from stamp duty till the end of March and even for those 3 bedrooms above the £500,000 the saving is also substantial.

Trinity Walk is a collection of 433 private new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each new home has been built to maximise living and storage space and natural light.
