A family affair…sisters Natasha and Francesca pool resources to buy an apartment at Lovell Homes’ Trinity Walk, Woolwich with just £20,000 deposit

Natasha and Francesca have shown that these sisters are doing it for themselves after saving £20,000 for a deposit to buy a two-bed apartment in ‘up and coming’ Woolwich.

The sisters have just moved into their top floor two-bedroom new home at Lovell Homes’ Trinity Walk. The spacious apartment boasts two bathrooms and two balconies, which allows them to enjoy morning and evening sun.

Francesca and Natasha, both in their mid-twenties managed to save up a deposit and bought the property using the Government’s London Help to Buy initiative.

They fell in love with the development when they happened to be driving past.

Natasha recalls: “We were living in the area and looking to move out of mum and dads’ flat. We saw the Trinity Walk sales’ suite and decided to pop in. We pretty much decided to reserve there and then once we saw the beautiful show apartment.

“We knew exactly what we wanted and this was it. We didn’t have to look at another development – this ticked all the boxes. The whole process has been quick, and we couldn’t be happier in our own home.”

Trinity Walk is a collection of 445 new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each new home has been built to maximise space and light as well as being finished with a high specification to ensure high levels of comfort, security and quality.

Francesca added: “Our apartment is very spacious including outside space which is amazing. We’ll be able to enjoy the outside lifestyle even more in the spring and summer but it’s still nice now to be able to step out of our apartment and look out onto the communal gardens.”

“We wanted to stay in the area, and Woolwich is widely considered to be up and coming so hopefully our apartment will appreciate in value,” added Natasha. “The riverside regeneration looks great and the level of new and ongoing investment in the area can only be a good thing. There’s so many cool coffee shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk.”

Both sisters work in the dentistry sector.

The proximity of Trinity Walk to the DLR line @Woolwich Arsenal and the soon to be open Elizabeth line were also important factors to the sisters’ choosing Trinity Walk.

Natasha said: “We can be on the train in 10 minutes and Cross Rail will make it quicker to get into central London. It’s great for work and our social life!”
